Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child, was born to the family of South London. She is English as well as her father is Nigerian. Her family was in the southern part of London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. She earned her BA in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. During her time at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions such as The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with the film Storm Damage. In the years since, she's been a guest star for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty, and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Her success resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a one-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe was also the lead character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment back in 2008. She was also as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009, with the thriller The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes prior to being cancelled on The CW. In February of 2011 she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe, who played a regular role in the previous two seasons would be leaving the show after a guest-appearance in the first episode of the season's new episode. The actress played Tituba in the program Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with Madekwe in Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. She was born to Roy and Patty Leggat. Her parents were Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's brothers, who are all athletes, play in the summer months and play hockey in the winter months. Ashley never actually walked -she did dance, so when she was two and a half she started Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley was addicted to dance since that time. Ashley was a professional dancer throughout the various divisions until she finished high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, as well as Acrobatics. She won the top individualist in all the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
